🧬 Family Lineage
Parents
Siddhi is a daughter of the famous tigress Arrowhead (T-84), belonging to the celebrated Machli lineage of Ranthambore — one of India’s most storied tiger family trees. Her father was a dominant male active in the landscape at the time, though his identity has not been officially documented.
Siblings
Siddhi is the litter sister of Ridhi (T-124). The sisters grew up together under Arrowhead’s influence before dispersing to form their own territories as adults.
🐾 Offspring & Breeding History
Confirmed Litter
- Year: 2024
- Number of Cubs: 3 cubs (photographed and confirmed)
- Birth Location: Zone 5 (Antpura / Kundera range) of Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
- Status: Forest department photo-trap captures show Siddhi with her three cubs, confirming her first documented litter.
These cubs were detected via camera traps in late 2024 — a significant milestone in Siddhi’s life and a boon for the reserve’s tiger population. The cubs have since been monitored, though detailed public information on their father or subsequent survival status is not officially published. As of December 2025, her cubs have not been spotted in the last couple of months raising the fear that they have not survived.
🌿 Territory & Sightings
Primary Zone
Siddhi is now primarily associated with Zone 5 of Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
Core Area Within the Zone
Within Zone 5, her range includes areas such as Antpura, Kundera, Jokha, and surrounding forest corridors, which provide plentiful cover and access to prey — ideal for rearing young cubs.
Earlier in her career (as a younger sub-adult), Siddhi was seen in parts of Zones 3 and 4, often overlapping with her sister Ridhi’s range as they negotiated territory boundaries.
🐾 Character & Presence
Siddhi is often described as alert and quietly powerful — not as flamboyant as her sister Ridhi, but formidable in territorial disputes when necessary. Her movements are more discreet and she historically spent more time near waterholes and quieter forest trails, emerging more frequently as she matured and established her own zone.
🐯 Conservation Significance
By raising her first known litter in Zone 5, Siddhi has become an important contributor to Ranthambore’s tiger population growth. Cubs of established females like her help ensure genetic continuity and ecological balance within the reserve’s mosaic of territories.
