🧬 Family Lineage
Parents
Ridhi is the daughter of the iconic tigress Arrowhead (T-84), a direct descendant of Ranthambore’s legendary Machli lineage. This bloodline is known for producing strong, territorial females and long-tenured residents of the reserve.
Her father was a dominant male present in the landscape at the time of her birth; however, his identity has not been conclusively recorded in public documentation.
Siblings
Ridhi grew up with her littermates, most notably her sister Siddhi (T-125). As they matured, the sisters dispersed and established independent territories, a natural progression for Ranthambore tigresses.
🐾 Offspring & Breeding History
Confirmed Litters
- Litter 1
- Year: 2023
- Number of Cubs: 3 cubs (2 male, 1 female)
- Father: T-120 (Ganesh)
- Status: Officially confirmed by the Rajasthan Forest Department
Ridhi gave birth to three cubs in mid-2023. The litter was documented through forest department monitoring and camera-trap evidence. T-120 (Ganesh), the dominant territorial male in her range at the time, is recognised as the father of this litter.
As a mother, Ridhi has demonstrated strong protective instincts, carefully managing cub movement within secure forest corridors. The cubs have since been observed growing steadily under her guidance.
It is believed that the cubs are ready to leave her now (December 2025) and establish their own territories.
🌿 Territory & Sightings
Primary Zone
Ridhi is most frequently sighted in Zone 3 of Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
Core Area Within the Zone
Within Zone 3, her movements are strongly associated with the Padam Talao–Rajbagh–Malik Talaab belt, an area known for reliable water sources, dense cover, and high prey density. This region has long supported breeding tigresses and provides ideal conditions for raising cubs.
🐾 Character & Presence
Ridhi is known for her calm, composed temperament and quiet authority. She is not overtly aggressive, preferring awareness and strategic movement over confrontation. Her controlled behaviour and maternal stability have made her a respected resident of her zone.
🐯 Conservation Significance
As a daughter of Arrowhead and a successful breeding tigress herself, Ridhi represents the continuation of one of Ranthambore’s most influential tiger lineages. Tigresses like her are essential to maintaining population stability, genetic diversity, and territorial balance within the reserve.
